caramel albino reptil
Albino secara singkat merupakan mutasi
genetik yang mengakibatkan hilangnya warna hitam (melanin) pada kulit ular. Hal
ini mengakibatkan warna ular menjadi sangat cerah dan cantik. Mutasi gen albino
sendiri bersifat resesif yang artinya hanya dapat diturunkan langsung kepada
jika dikawinkan dengan sesama albino. Tapi apabila retic albino beda tipe
dikawinkan maka tidak akan menghasilkan albino. Hasilnya adalah anakan normal
yang membawa het (dobel) albino.

Albino Type Satu (Clark Strain)
Seperti namanya albino ini pertama kali dibuktikan sebagai proven morph oleh Bob Clark, salah satu breeder terkemuka di jagat bumi saat ini pada tahun 2000. Albino type satu sangat unik karena bersifat polymorphic yang artinya keturunannya punya warna yang berbeda-beda. Dalam satu clutch anakan akan ditemukan tiga warna yakni putih (white phase), lavender phase dan purple phase.
2. Albino Type Dua (Kahl Strain)
Tipe tiga ini juga dikenal dengan nama amelanistic atau disingkat amel. Albino amel adalah tipe albino sejati karena benar-benar memiliki warna putih yang bersih dan memiliki mata merah. Kebanyakan orang sulit membedakan albino amel dengan albino white phase. Namun kalau ternyata teliti albino amel memiliki kepala berwarna putih dan mata full merah.
3. Albino Type Tiga (Caramel)
Dikenal dengan warnanya yang seperti caramel. Caramel = menambah pigment hitam pada albino yg disebut T +. Semua warna hitam diganti dengan warna ungu. Semua pigmen gelap lainnya tidak ada. Warna yang muncul adalah keemasan, kuning pucat dan ungu.

hi all!
I just wondered if anyone new the answer to my question? I understand that if you cross an albino with anery, you get normal visuals which are double hets, and then a 1/16 chance of getting snows with the F2 generation.
However, would would you get if you crossed a normal albino royal, with a caramel albino (xanthic albino) royal? Im thinking the F1 generation should show visuals, becasue they are both homo recessive for lacking in the melanin. The only difference is, xanthic albinos are tyronase postive, which means they can sometimes make a tiny bit of melanin.
I think you might get visual albinos whihc are hets for tyronase postive albinos...maybe, but really am not sure :S
the reason is, i have 5 66% het for caramel albino royals, and should be soon getting a pair of 100% het for albino royals. I was thinking, rather than pairing up random 66% hets, and if the babies are non visual, not knowing whether the female, or male ar both are not hets, i could prove which females are hets for caramel albino, by breeding with a 100% albino male, and hoping 1/4 of the babies come out with visuals.
Just a thought, if you can shed any light on it please let me know

Cat: bahasan albino lebih sulit dr sekedar keterangan di atas, karena
apakah memang benar albino harus ditilik dari benarkah dari 4 atau 5

- Caramel : warna kulit dan cangkang merah muda, mata hitam atau secara

atau bahkan putih ( di res slidernya jd kuning
- Clown: biasanya kurang warna gelapnya dr seluruh kulit d cangkang, ada
kuningnya, orange, hijau bahkan merah dan pola motifnya kontras
- Pastel: kurang pigmen gelap ada kuning keputihan, orange keputihan, hijau
keputihan, dan merahnya jg keputihputihan.

Allophore = A cell or chromatophore
containing red pigment in the skin of reptiles, amphibians, and fish (Peters,

Amelanism = A term sometimes used
instead of Amelanistic (McEachern, 1991). The appearance resulting from a
lack of melanin (Barker, 2006).
Amelanistic = Having no melanin. The pigment melanin, which is responsible for black, brown, and
